Your progressive voice in the Pontiac
Welcome to Pontiac-Kitigan Zibi
We represent the NDP’s presence in the federal riding of Pontiac-Kitigan Zibi. Pontiac is a beautiful riding that truly mirrors Canada. It covers a large territory in the province of Quebec and its population is bilingual. While portions of the riding are urban areas, most of its territory is rural. It is also home to the Kitigan Zibi Indian Reserve. The Pontiac-Kitigan Zibi NDP riding association not only acknowledges these characteristics, but cherishes them.
Our Vision
Canada is both a beautiful place and one of the most envied countries in the world. However, New Democrats are Canadians who believe that we can do even better, by becoming more egalitarian and fair, where there are more opportunities and where no one is left on their own when problems arise.
It is clear that we can achieve these goals if we work together. Combating income inequalities, supporting good jobs, protecting the environment and creating a more inclusive Canada are our main battleground objectives.
As members, you can help us achieve these goals by participating in our activities. You can also approach us if you have an activity in mind that would benefit our Pontiac-Kitigan Zibi NPD association, by allowing our community to participate actively in the development and awareness of our organization with Pontiac residents. In addition, this helps us prepare our next electoral campaign, with the goal of advancing our progressive vision.

To fully participate in our efforts, you need to become a member of the NDP. Annual membership is $10 and needs to be renewed each year.
